I keep looking at this and one part of me says its too dark and heavy to be a wedding portrait, on the other hand I really do like it! From the detail in the dress, her pose and smile and the subtle hint of colour on her shoulders - have to say well done!

Very nice Terry, the train is perfectly positioned on the lead in to the bridge, and the hills make a great backdrop.

Balmaha is a nice spot with plenty of photo opportunities. I quite like this, but I think it needs a bit of a crop exclude the boat on the left and to just include the two boats on the right of the line of boats. A bit needs to go from the water in front of the line of boats, then they lead your eye nicely into the image. It has been taken in quite harsh light, hence the cover of the foremost boat being very bright. It would have been much better taken later in the day when the light was softer.

Nice one Terry, they always make such good subjects. Might liked to have seen a bit less dof to separate the background, but the petals escaping the frame make up for it!

At last another post! And a great one at that, amazing clarity and great composition, especially like how the crown and the petals provide the frame for the hoverfly.

Hey Nick, welcome back to your own site! ;¬) Love the colours and details in this, and the little pebble lower left that looks like a comical face.

Love all the arches and the warm colours in this Dave - nice one!

I'm guessing that of the two shots posted this is nearest to the true scene, although I get the feeling that the exposure and saturation have been pushed, if so a bit too far. I would expect to see some more subtle tones in a scene like this. The reflected clouds in the foreground really need to be much sharper for the image to have more impact. You haven't added any shooting info so it is a bit difficult to suggest where improvements might be made.

Clever shot Danielle, I like how the roundabout sign appears to hover in the image and how it has picked up the prevalent red tones. Only suggestion that might improve it would be to crop an inch or so from the right to balance the image a bit better.

Keep coming back to this, and its been here a while without a comment! I love the colours and the soft muted tones, maybe though that's why it hasn't been critiqued, it is more like a piece of art than a photograph. I like this and could see it as a large print in a nice frame adding a huge splash of vibrant colour to someones living room!
